Dr. Victor James Lim attended California Polytechnic State University for his undergraduate degree and graduated from the University of Michigan with his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Afterward, he practiced in different types of dental environments, including high-end cosmetic and multi-doctor dental offices. Continually investing his time in learning the latest dental techniques through continuing education courses, he dedicates himself to providing comprehensive and quality dentistry. His priority is to make the patient feel totally comfortable and pain-free. He listens to patients' needs and works with them to achieve their goals.
Dr. John Christopher Durr attended the University of Virginia where he studied Psychology, then continued to the School of Dentistry at Virginia Commonwealth University to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He completed two years of residency training at the Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, NY, where he studied under the brightest, most innovative minds in the dental field. Dr. Durr served as a lecturer and clinical instructor at the University of Washington in Seattle, Georgetown University, and Virginia Commonwealth University. Through his affiliations with the Northern Virginia Dental Society, and acting as the Chairman of the Virginia Dental Association, Dr. Durr continues his education to stay at the forefront of dental technology.
Voted as a Top Dentist in 2010 by Virginia Living Magazine, Dr. Durr has also been awarded the American Jurisprudence Award in Professional Responsibility from George Mason University. Dr. Durr has been a past lecturer and instructor at Georgetown University and Virginia Commonwealth University and is a current member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Society, the Northern Virginia Implant Society, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesia.
Dr. Durr lived in many places before moving to Shouse Village, including a three-year stint in the Netherlands. He and his wife, Susan, who recently retired from the intelligence community, have three children.
A man of many personal interests, Dr. Durr belongs to several Old Boy Rugby sides and works with the Potomac Society of Rugby Referees. He is working toward his brown belt in Shotokan Karate and a black belt in Iaido, has completed nine Marine Corps marathons, plays the piano, travels extensively with his family, and collects Spanish American Colonial coins.
